Home Remedies for Head Lice
Home remedies for lice may include essential oils to kill adult lice, or apple cider vinegar to soften up the bags of eggs (nits) that are attached to the hair, or heavy oils like coconut oil or olive oil to suffocate the lice. After using a home remedy type to remove them, it is important to clean the nits from the hair with a fine comb.
Remedy apple cider vinegar
The remedy of apple cider vinegar vinegar combines with strong essential oils therapeutic grade. A mixture of rosemary oil or lavender, rosemary and tea tree oil or lavender oil and tea tree oil, is effective. For each cup of apple cider vinegar , add a teaspoon of each essential oil ingredient. Massage the vinegar mixture into the hair to the scalp. Cover hair with a shower cap and leave for 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Remedy strong oil
Creates a strong oil remedy for lice to combine coconut oil and olive oil with a few drops of camphor extract. Make the amount needed to completely cover the scalp and stubborn. Rub oil mixture on the hair and scalp, cover with a shower cap and leave for 15 minutes or more. Rinse with plenty of warm water.
Remedy garlic, vinegar and lemon
You can also try a lice remedy apple cider vinegar , lemon juice and garlic paste. Mix the vinegar and lemon juice in a ratio of 3-1. Add about a teaspoon of garlic paste purchased in stores or several cloves of crushed fresh garlic. Garlic is a natural insecticide that kills adult lice. Soak the hair and scalp with this mixture and then cover with a shower cap for at least 30 minutes.
Remove the nits
After using one of these remedies, it is essential to manually remove adult lice and nits softened. You will need a fine comb, preferably metal. Comb every inch, from scalp to ends, carding hair.
