Grants from the American Dental Hygienists Association Institute for Oral Health
The Institute for Oral Health of the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA) sponsors a scholarship program for students enrolled in accredited dental hygiene programs in the United States .
Applicants must be at least the second year of study and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants may be enrolled in full-or part-time and must be either active members of the Student American Dental Hygienists ‘Association (SADHA) or the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA). Graduate students may also be considered if they have a degree and have a current license dental hygienist. The amount of the scholarship worth $ 1,500 are awarded based on academic achievement and financial need.
Hispanic Dental Association Scholarships
The Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) sponsors three scholarship program for Hispanic dental hygiene students at undergraduate and graduate levels. Colgate-Palmolive/HDA Fellowship Foundation is an amount of $ 10,000 awarded to a student graduate dental hygiene for the purpose of conducting clinical research related to the field. The grant from the Procter & Gamble Professional Oral Health / HDA Foundation Awards $ 1,000 to dental hygiene students who are just beginning their studies in the field. The scholarship Dr. John D. Villarreal / HDA Foundation awards prizes of U.S. $ 500 to U.S. $ 1000 for students of undergraduate dental hygiene state of Texas. Applicants for any of the scholarships must be active members of the HDA.
American Dental Education Association / Crest Oral-B Scholarships
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) ADEA Scholarship sponsors / Crest Oral-B using the “Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers” program. The program awards $ 2,000 amounts and delivered to leading dental hygiene students who have completed an associate degree program and are enrolled in an accredited degree program at an institution approved by the ADEA.
